How often do you renew items?

I renew regularly. I am not sure if there is a point. They are not about to expire, I just like to get them near the front of my shop.

When they expire. I also used to renew when my items were relevant to the items in Etsy emails such as the finds. I don't know if that really works any more or not.

I renew every Tues and Thurs only for about 3 to 4 of my top view items. I've gotten sales, treasury, and views. I have not renewed in a few weeks. I am hearing different feedback. I am testing it again

I only renew when something is about to expire. Like when something has one or two days left.

Everyday I renew about 10 items that are close to expiration and everyday I post 10 or more new listings if possible.
I have over 1300 items so I must renew constantly- worth it for me
and often they get bought the second time around...not all of course!

If the titles and tags are good then there's no need to waste money in renewing.

You can just rearrange your shop instead :)

All of my items renew sold automatically, so daily. If a few days go by without a sale, I renew my oldest listings. Otherwise, only when they are about to expire.

Yes, I use "rearrange your shop function" to adjust their positions. And I only renew four items per day from the "expire" section in order to keep my shop updated and refreshed to my customers.

I don't renew unless they are expired. I have so many listings I'm renewing 5-10 items a day anyway (not including what was sold).

I only renew when items are about to expire, or I renew sold if I have remade an item.

It depends on the time of year for me. July and August are so slow that I don't renew much. This time of year I renew several items a day to get them to the front. It seems to work for me. My shop is still small, just over 100 items.

I have 34 days until I retire from corporate America. I will be adding many more items and doing the happy dance every day. I finally get to do what I truly love full time! I hope to be able to pay for my health insurance from Etsy. We all know how expensive that is!

I only renew expired listings. It seems like a waste of money to renew listings that are already active.
