How often do you renew a listing?

Do you renew the listing on your items before they expire? And if so, how often do you renew?

I used to renew my listings a lot but I read somewhere that with the new browsing feature that renewing doesn't help to keep you at the top of the pages. Is this true? Can someone help me with that?

Yeah, I haven't been getting as many views lately and wondered if renewing would help...

I renew a few items here and there when it is slow, and because recency still seems to matter a bit. It doesn't really seem to help my views in any large way though.

Relevancy still seems to carry the heavier weight. I've been reading that recency as well as other algorithm factors count for the new browse feature, but most people are not getting many views from browse - so I wouldn't waste a lot of money on renewing.

I too am trying to figure out if renewing helps or not....I haven't hit quite the right formula yet..... It keeps changing and I cannot keep up with what will work...

I renew a few things when views go way down.....there are times it seems my shop is "turned off" and then days where I have a lot of views...I just cannot figure out why....

I renew a couple things every day (or add something new). I think it does help as I always tend to have a spike in views about an hour or so afterward. I also think if all tags are created equal recency comes into play. I don't mind spending a dollar or so on my shop everyday...

I've considered doing this, but so far have decided to invest the money in search ads for views over renewing items before they expire. I believe that search ads will generate views more consistently over time than to renew one item every day.

Renewing does not do any good if nobody views it to help relevancy as since search is Relevancy and not have to do with how new something is. Maybe if you want to sell a certain item and hope that when you renew someone will view it then it may go higher. I sort of think it is a waste of money to do it on a regular basis some people renew every day and i am not quite sure that helps any in regards to getting back that investment

I have my items set to multiples available, so the item renews when it sells. I am still in my first 4 months (been selling thee patterns for just over a month), and I am trying to upload 3-4 patterns a day or every other day and hope to do that for the next 3 months, so going forward I will have items renewing everyday as they expire at the 4 month mark.

I used to renew when it expies, but last week I did it every day and it seems like it help, I had couple ssales. Now I am going to continue to renew couple or may be three listings a day. Will see how it help.

Everytime I sell one, but mine are all made to order listings. I like to show the different fabrics customers have used. It gives them a visual which I think is helpful to buyers.
