How many views do you get?

I love the fact you can get access to this information on Etsy but I find it frustrating too.

I get about 200 views a week. I've managed to increase to that from about 100 by doing allllllllll the things that are advised.....FB/twitter etc I've increased the range in my shop from 20 to over 40 items but I know I need to get views in the 1000s to get real sales.

Helllllllllp......please..... what do I do?

I'm finding it really frustrating ....what else can I do/sell/ make?

Hi, I'm a neebie. I have just read all your comments and feel quite overwhelmed. It's great to hear that it is possible to get lots of views and sales. I now got a long list of things to do.

I started a week ago too and been trying to improve my pictures. it's not perfect yet but I think it's getting better. I have about 200 views this week. did you hear about the free Facebook ads?

Hi guys, here are my stats

- Shop is about 2 months old
- A grand total of 12 items listed!
- I buy $25 etsy search ads a week (whew)
- 75-80 views a day
- My facebook page is small and doesn't generate many nor consistent pageviews

I'm so envious of those who get hundreds of views a day.

I don't intend to increase my listings in the short term because that's really all the designs I have for now! I think there is no way I could reach even 30 listings in the next few months.

I work full time, so I basically throw money into the search ads. However, I don't intend to pay $25/week forever! I'm going to stop the search ads now (as of 10 Feb), and see how much the views are affected, just to experiment.

Hey Jessica, Just from my experience, the search ads may bring more views but I havent had one single sale from them and I think they are pretty much a waste of money. Just my opinion though. I get WAY more views and sales from twitter.

I'm in my fourth week of selling on Etsy and I get anywhere from 30 - 90 views a day. I don't buy ads and I'm working on getting more materials up as I only have 10 items in my shop. Still waiting for that first sale, but hopefully it'll come with more things in my shop.

All these sound like way more views than I am getting. I just started treasuries a week or so ago. I try to do at least one a day now. I hadn't heard about having 50 items, so I will work towards that. Working on redoing my pictures as well. Seems like I have a lot more work to do with the very few views I have. I have noticed more since I've been doing treasuries.

I read about the "boosting small business on facebook" but to do the free ads you have to agree to let them sign in as your business page at any time. That doesn't seem right to me.

Can folks talk a little more about marketing they do outside of Etsy, like how they figure out and reach their target audience? Is there free advertising people do? What exactly does it mean to promote on facebook...keeping a page for your shop or actually having adds? What do you do and how frequently? How much time or what percentage of the time you devote to your shop do you spend on promoting versus producing? What are the specifics?! I'd love the details! Thanks so much!

Hey everyone! I just launched my Etsy shop yesterday and despite getting tons of views, no sales yet. I joined this thread to get knowledge, and I can't wait to meet everyone! My Etsy shop is a supplement to my wedding planning biz, where I sell wedding planning resources to brides. :)

I'm a bit confused when people talk about views. Are they talking about shop views, listing views or the combination of the two. I have been averaging around 150 combination views per day until my wife became more active in responding to convovs and treasuries. I now average between 200 and 300 per day, but sales have not increased that dramatically. I also have over 800 items in my shop.
