How many sales in a month do you consider successful?

Just curious - how many sales would you have to get over a 30-day period to feel pretty good/consider that month successful? :)

Hmm, probably 10 would be a happy place to be right now, with time constraints such as school and internship.. after I graduate (this semester!!) I plan on beefing up my shop and really start getting down to business. then I would consider about 20-30 successful. So far this month I only have 3 sales, but that's with me neglecting my shop and not renewing or promoting or anything.

@Rebecca, oh no! I just don't live on Etsy. I do the majority of my bath & body sales offline. Never put all your eggs in one basket.

3 items per day is great. I think I pretty well managed that last year and this year is going well.

I would be happy with one, considering I haven't sold anything yet :)
But eventually I'd like to have 4 - 6 sales a month. My items are quite time consuming to make and if I sell more I couldn't keep up I think.

Really depends on the price point of your items, I would think. I aim more for a dollar amount per month.

Any sales would be considered a good month for me! But then I've only just been getting my shop off the ground.

Most of my items are pretty cheap, so I would have to get like 4-5 sales a day to make the money I want to make here. So far, it's been more like one sale a day on average.

I would love to crack the £1000 a month mark. That would make me happy. For exactly one day. Then I would need to make more the next month to make me happy again. I have this competitive streak with myself!

My success is the revenue amount as opposed to the number of items. My goal is to beat the revenue from the month before. This month is going to be a bummer I think so far - sales have been slow in coming. I'm very thankful for those sales though!

My goal is one item per day average. I am Currently 6 ahead of my goal for the year! Yea. I dont want to set my goal much higher than that because all my items are handmade and I could not keep up. :)

Because my items are only like $4-6, I really need almost 100.... but that doesn't happen (but I also use Tophatter so that has been helping). Overall, it depends on the prices of your items and how dependent you are on your shop income

Since I still consider this a hobby, I would be happy with 200$ revenue every month for time being... If this were my only income, then I would be in trouble :D Etsy is flooded with jewelry so it is really hard to stand out...

I would be happy with 10 sales a month right now. Etsy seems very up and down for us right now but I'm putting that down to the time of year.
