46 sales for December!! I was totally unprepared for this. I am blown away. It took two years so don't give up people!! There is so much to learn about having an Etsy business. This team is a constant resource for me! Thanks to all of you who have helped me along the way!
Yoko I'm with you on this one. I guess next month I will have to see what it'll bring me. I will be changing my promoting around and listings I guess. At least we aren't on this island alone.
I just redirected my shop from hand painted cards to knitting... I am knitting babies and children couture and photography props. So far I have 33 items and knew I had to have a greater selection to start selling but so far I have had 3 sales... 2 are shown in my shop and the other one to one of my son's teachers. I am like starting all over again and working every day in my knitting and various super talented phptpgraphers. I hope soon sales start to pick up but I am thankful fot the 3 I have had. Congratulations to all the shops with the overwhelming sales!!!!!
Yes I've found November and December great, a bit concerned with the post being so slow so just keeping my fingers crossed everything gets there in time!
I'm up to 5 sales so far this month. It's not as great as last year in my other shop, but I closed both shops in October and then re-opened this one. I'm kind of starting over with this one and slowly adding new items, so it's to be expected.
I've had 11 sales this month so far, that is pretty good for me and I'm happy with that. I am also hoping that it is not quite over yet for me. I would love a couple more over the weekend. Keeping my fingers crossed :)
I'm new to this team and just wanted to share that this Christmas is my best so far on Etsy, I have had 12 sales in the past week and have set a goal to reach 100 sales by the end of the year. I am currently at 86. I am running a coupon of HOLIDAY20 for 20% off which seems to be helping.

sales are not there...it's my own predicament though...I have a full time job and I have a hard time getting this business going better... Hopefully 2014 will be my break free from my day job year!
I'm thrilled with my sales, which aren't much but my views have tripled in last month and I"ve been working on adding more items everyday. I know it will slow down after holidays but I'm hoping it will keep up, fingers crossed.
So far, I am at 7 orders for the month of December which I am grateful for. However, my revenue is almost double in comparison to December 2012 (with a total of 10 sales) and that's exciting!
I am jealous of all of you...I haven't had a real sale since October on etsy - I have had a few custom orders off etsy but that is it...
I have tried everything - I know really need better photos but I am very limited on where I can get good photos because I live in a small house and in a small town with a foot of snow on the ground and my camera is just a small point and shoot which is almost 4 years old...
I have talked to a few of my friends who have better cameras and I asked my boyfriend about maybe taking photos somewhere in town and he suggested a few places...maybe after the holidays Ill have better photos and then more sales...its hard selling jewelry on etsy because everything seems to be jewelry :(
