Are you busy with Christmas orders right now?

Well, I have 2 etsy shops and have got 15 sales so far, not as good as last year.
How about you?

I'm so busy with Nov./Dec. orders I really don't have time to be typing this right now!!! I'm getting soooo many messages from customers wanting to know where their orders are, when they will ship, why haven't they arrived...It's very overwhelming.

I'm not overwhelmed with orders but I am still doing what I would consider great holiday sales since I went from having 7 sales to having now 15 sales. So I doubled my amount of sales in the past 3 weeks!

The past month has been averaging 3-4 sales per day, but the past two days have been very quiet.

End of November and beginning of December were slow, but I was busy with craft markets, so it balanced out. This week has picked up quite a bit. Interesting...

December is my best month ever in revenue and we have more than the half to go yet. I really cannot complain.

We just "returned" from having to put our shop on vacation mode for a week due to too many orders (we are very grateful). Opened back up today to allow one more "rush" before Christmas. Already today have received about 1/2 of the quota that we can ship in time for Christmas. So, yes, December has been VERY good to us.

After a while of being on Etsy I've actually started to have some sales over the last couple of months - not as many as people above (5 altogether so far!) but am pleased I persevered as it's so exciting every time I get an order. Had order number 5 yesterday!

14 orders so far. But being distant from most of my customers, I believe that my Christmas season is over.

I'm really happy though! This is my first year on Etsy and has been better than I expected :) Looking forward to 2014.

Sales for this month have been absolutely amazing. As a matter of fact it started in October, November was even better & December has blown me away. Totally awesome. Absolutely loving it!

It's crazyness!!! I've got more orders than last year and they dont seem to be slowing down any even though my holiday cut-off is way past.

Ive definitely seen a huge increase in orders, particularly journals! I had 160 orders for the month last year. I'm at about 115 now. So it looks like I'll get that at least by the end of the month.

@Erica - WOW! (I took a look at your sold orders for today.) Please tell me etsy is your full-time job. :)

December has been great, actually the best month since I've been on Etsy. It has outperformed November by 100% and I didn't think that was possible. I am so grateful...but I admit I was unprepared for the onslaught of orders. There is no way for me to know what will sell so I hesitate to make a lot of an item if I am not sure it will sell. Next year I will be prepared! Famous last words....

I'm overwhelmed with orders. I've already got 27 in December, compared to 47 in November. Given that most of my items need some time to be made, I'm in a real rush and I'm even starting to feel nervous about it all. And custom orders keep coming... So, oh goodness, why do I have two hands only?

It hasn't been what I hoped it would be. I'm new, though. I've been working REALLY hard at making new handbags and getting them listed with great photography. Hopefully that will pay off.

December has been slower on Etsy than October and November for me. But I've been hit with tons of sales off of Etsy. Just about ready to surpass my best month in revenue! Have to smile about that!

I've had 8 orders so far this month, some for multiple items (one was a big custom order). I'm only selling ready-to-ship items through the rest of the year. I work outside the home and I need to get my own personal stuff done for the holidays. I was contacted today by a buyer asking when an item would ship if she decided to buy. I'm hoping the sale goes through. We're getting down to the wire as far as mailing dates.

December is right on track from what I did in November. Unfortunately I have no time to list more items! I get home from work, and it's already dark; I need to find a happy medium!
My goal is to get back back up to 100 listings by the end of the year :).

My October was comfortable. November was WOW. So far in December, I'm absolutely floored. When I opened, I wrote down my goals, some of which were "fantasy" goals. My revenue for December has surpassed that fantasy goal. I'm feeling pretty happy. I'm also feeling overwhelmed, and it's making me grumpy haha but I'm sure once the rush is over I'll wish it didn't end. Happy holidays everyone! :)

I'm very happy with my sales. Not the stellar sales that others have had, but I went from being lucky to get one sale per month to selling 14 items in 2 1/2 weeks. My orders started coming in at the end of November, and I had 4 days in a row with a sale. However if I don't get one today it will be the 4th day in a row with no sales. I'm hoping my holiday sales aren't over yet!
