No sales yet, and I'm not even getting more views than normal! I even have a 10% off everything coupon! This is my first Cyber Monday and I had high hopes for it. I guess the shopping bug hasn't hit yet?
I have had a strange day. But woke up to a sale and had high views. I'm hoping I can get someone else to take advantage of my coupon code today before I turn it off.
Slow, slow, slow. It's going around. Maybe because people are shopping the "big" cyber Monday sales. I'm going to extend my sale through tomorrow... Cyber Tuesday on Etsy!
Roughly the same amount of views so far, one sale. Black Friday was a little worse for me than any normal weekday (I noticed Fri & Sat are slow for me).
Same here . My confidence is in the trash. I have had one sale since I opened in September and only 80 views today cyber Monday and no sales. My jewelry sells to friends , so are they just humoring me or is my jewelry pretty enough. Don't know.
Well, the day is nearly done and not a single sale. Now to spend the morning re-tagging all of my items! I spent lots of time promoting my 20% off card sets sale and free shipping codes, and noticed increased traffic, but no sales. I'm wondering what the magic tags and titles will be to help get a little something going for the rest of the holiday shopping season!
I am really disappointed. Worked really hard to tag everything and got one sale. Well at least I got one sale, I am pleased about that but remember how in my mind I pictured sales pooping up right and left? What happened? I am so sorry ya'll. I really hope Christmas sales are better. Pooh! I'm a bit disgruntled but makes me feel better to see I am not alone. :(
No sales all weekend and I was offering FREE SHIPPING on FURNITURE! But I guess people were shopping for smaller items. Oh well...maybe it will pick up later this month.
Awesome day for me! I won't end up making much money since I did free shipping, but I'm happy to increase my views, hearts, and sales. 237 views, 74 favorites, and five sales! That is almost as much as I've sold in the year I've been on here. I've been putting a lot of effort into Teams, which is hard for me because I hate being online, so I'm glad to see my work paid off. Hope things improve for everyone.
hmm...well my personal opinion is that the big holiday weekend is focused on electronics and household items. People want or *need* a new flatscreen, xbox, computer, deck chairs, oven, etc.
Black Friday/Cyber Monday is not a handmade marketing holiday. It's generally for household items (bedding, dining room table, dishes) and electronics (and occasionally work clothes).
Xmas is a time for finding something special for someone and that time is approaching. Thanksgiving weekend is for fixing up the house.
I changes tags and descriptions on my sale items, and not one sale, and not one Cyber Monday search. Had some Black Friday searches over the weekend, but no sales. A big bust. 25 lousy views today, and none all afternoon and evening.
WOw-my activity feed has slowed to nada- how are you getting your views-google analytics? havent seen my views for today, but so far (I remain ever hopeful) NO sales today:(
I bet that everyone on etsy is so busy renewing or promo'ing or whatever its even tougher to get to listings-
but for those who've had sales-yippee:D I jsut listed two new items so am hoping the more items I add the better chances i Have of being seen!
