How can I inspire people to be proactive in my team?

I started a team a few months ago at the request of many folks. The basic premise is to be empower one another through positive actions and inspiration... just be positive and positive things happen! Such is life.. Anyhow, lately there has been hardly any action in there! I start many posts about this and that to no avail. People just don't respond or comment. We have several promotional posts that get a little action, but promotion is not the central focus of the team.

Does anyone have any advice on how to inspire folks to be more communicative and proactive in the team?

Have you thought about joining the Captain's Quarters? It's an Etsy Team for Captains. There are a lot of resources to help us folks that have teams.

Desiree, Your friends most likely wanted you to create the team because they need your help and advice to become empowered and be more positive. If other don't really "actively participate" you can really make them. Maybe all they can do is read your words of wisdom like in a blog. I would like to know the name of the team, please.

You're probably right Janna. It all started with a forum thread that I started and people were just all about having a team focused on this discussion. I should just be more proactive in talking about what the team is all about - a healthy positive state of mind perception of life, and living in the moment, being who you truly are! :)
