How Often do You change Shop Banners

I was wondering how often does everyone change their shop banners?

I try to keep the same one as I had when i first opened. For those that changed their banners, how does it work for you

I don't change it for every holiday, but I've updates it throughout the past year. I haven't noticed that it affected anything (positive or negative). As long as you keep it professional, I don't think it would hurt to update/change it when you felt the need.

That's a good question. I tend to go with my branding and I might change a few things when I have sales on or promotions. Being constant is key. Erica is correct about there is no positives or negatives in changing the banner often:) It's fun to update and refresh the shop sometimes and keeps buyers amused with you and your items :) Best of luck.

I have pretty specific branding that I try to carry over all platforms so I haven't changed my banner or avatar.

I'm a seasonal shop so I change my banner quite often. For me, my branding is in my style, not a specific image so this works for me.

I don't either change my banner or my avi. My avi is my inspiration for my shop, and I think my customers know my banner, plus I like it!

I've done experiments with changing it a few times, and I even took it off for a month in Jan. I had my most number of sales ever in Jan. when I had no banner at all. I really don't think it matters, most people come to my Shop from search engines, I don't think most of them ever even view my Shop. I had read something about the banners messing up the View on mobile devices, that is why I did my own experiment.

Google banner making. There are free sites that work pretty good. Wish I remembered the name of the one I used.

I haven't changed my banner as #1 I like it, #2 I'm trying to establish a "trademark" of sorts, and #3 I never have time to do what I want to anyway.

I am thinking of adding a mascot and using that in my avi, and including it in my photos. Something to get people to remember this it the " " shop.

I don't change mine at all. I used to edit it a lot when I first started because I always thought the ones I created weren't suitable. Once I used my logo I was satisfied with how it looked.

I changed mine a couple times until I got what I wanted. I changed it for the holidays but it basically what I have now but with a snowflake background and a "Wishing you a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays" line on it.

I stick with my branding - actually had mine done by a fellow Etsian a couple of years ago who also did my biz cards. I'm not tired of it yet, but I do like to change it every few years :)

I never change my Avatar. I change the banner whenever I remember. However, my banners are all the same with different background color.

I have not changed my banner since i bought it here on etsy because first of all i like it and second of all i don't want to waste my time trying to create a new one which would be no better than what i have already. I don't know why but i can't come up with any ideas for one

I change mine with the seasons. They are all close-ups/crops of the antique prints that I sell, so I feel there is consistency. Right now, it is about time to go from winter to spring....

I've only changed my banner and profile pic during the Christmas season between Thanksgiving and New Year's. Otherwise I keep it the same.

My banner has never been changed since I opened the shop almost 6 years ago.

I've updated my avatar for the Christmas holiday season but that's about it.

It's on my to-do list, expecially because my jewelry is completely different now and I only have a few items of that kind...
Just need to find the time and inspiration...
