How Many sales a month?

Its been precisely one month since I opened my Etsy shop. I have 4 sales so far. I am hoping it will pick up this month but still wondering how many I should expect or set my target to. A question for those who have been on Etsy longer than I have-- How many sales a month do you get?

Each shop is different no matter how long they've been here. My 1 year anniversary is coming on April 22, I average 5-10 sales per month, not so good for me at least, but I sell tons offline.

I'm in the process of redesigning and restocking my shop, so those numbers will be going up very soon.

Also to add, you get in what you put in. For example, my new shop, tidymighty (opened this January) and already have 228 sales. I busted my ass getting that shop going and neglected this one for a while. But now I'm back in action.

Sounds good to me. I opened less than 2 months ago. I had about 4 the first month and then 8 this past week. Hopefully the upward trend continues for us both. Good Luck

I reopened my shop this past December (after a year-long hiatus), and after adding a new product (personalized note cards).

January: 25 orders
February: 43 orders
March: 39 orders
April 2 - to date: 22 orders

And yes, I am VERY happy with the way things are going! :)

Nice photos you have in your shop!
I do not sell clothing but jewelry like you do. have been on since February 1st and have had 10 sales. I do sell "different cultural things" so it is not in everyones taste maybe. I sell off line as well, as Jacque & it is a great way to have Etsy pages as show & display. I do find that people often rather try things on then order online.

I reread the above and I really didn't mean to come off as bragging. This is the first time though that I have had success with my shop. I promote like crazy and list twice a day, so I am feeling like it is finally paying off! :)

My average is 22 sales a month since I started just over a year ago. I'm pleased with that for now, since my items average about $50.

Wow! I signed up for Etsy a while ago, but didn't start selling until this January. I've only had 3 sales. Very discouraging as I've been networking, making treasuries etc. If you care to take a look at my shop, and offer any suggestions for boosting sales, I'd be very grateful.

I'm a stay at home mom too - this is a perfect way to balance both!
Over christmas was crazy, I had 46 orders in November, but I seem to be averaging about 25/month now.

Its been a couple of months now since I opened my shop. Initially it was like 2 sale/week. But now its has drastically reduced. So do my views too. I used to get 200+ views a day and now it doesnt cross 25. I scratching my head about where am going wrong ! Keeping fingers crossed :)

Since opening in January, I've averaged 43 orders a month for a total of 228 sales. It's slowed down a bit, so I'm working to get my listings up to 100, currently at 93.

Hey ladies... Why dont we state how many items are in our shop compared to sales. I'm new to etsy myself. But I'm a numbers freak. It would be interesting to see correlation between the two. Let's divide them and see if we can figure on a sales/items percent.

So here is my taking on the whole thing. LM 22 sales. Approx 45 items for sale.
Which gives me .48 just about the same as the shop above me. It would be interesting to get more shops in this thread to look at sales this way so we may find that yes there is a correlation.

Mmm. I'm hardly getting started here! For the past three month my sales have been from at around 9-ish a month, this month I've had 4 so far, so looks like I'm headed in the same direction. Every shop is different, though, so just keep working at it! :)

I've been on for about a year and a half. Some months I get a couple sales, some months I get around 10, it totally depends. I have 140 items in my shop and my goal is to have 200 listings by the end of the year. Hoping that with more listings my sales will go up!
