Helping Out a New Shop - Advice Needed!

I'm almost to 50 sales at my shop Wicked Weird Wayz and I honestly feel so blessed to become part of this beautiful etsy community!! I've seriously worked my butt off to get where I am today, and looking back (November 2014 is when I opened shop) is crazy to see how much I've progressed as an artist and a seller in such a short amount of time and I'm so proud! I would feel honored if YOU checked out my page and gave me some advice or opinions because I've been working SO hard to make it the best it could be for all of you!! I added so many new handmade things that include precious gemstones and good variety of prices on all my work. And of course free crystals in every order!! It would mean the world to me if you visited my page & told me what you think!! THANK YOU ETSY COMMUNITY! So much love!

Hi Lacey,

One thing I noticed is some of the items could be zoomed in a little more (like some of the bullets and the spoon) I also like the pictures of the bullets on the necklace. It might be a nice picture for display so people know what it is for.

Re: Helping Out a New Shop - Advice Needed!

Hi there,
Congrats on your success!
I noticed that you do not have shop sections. I would add these to help buyers navigate through your store easier as you sell a variety of different works. I would also complete your About Page. A lot of buyers want to know more about the person they are buying from. It also gives your shop a more complete look.

Re: Helping Out a New Shop - Advice Needed!

I would suggest, instead of comparing the item to a lighter, put it up next to a tape measure with the actual measurements, or something more universal. The lighter, albeit a pretty common item to almost everyone, tends to have a...stigma? attached to it. Better to use something that wouldn't turn off a potential customer.

I hope that helps!
