How to get more followers: Follow more people. A lot of them will follow you back. But you want to try to follow people or groups who are related in some to what you're promoting.

Re: Help with publicity for giveaway

I know it doesn't really help you right now, but around the holidays there's a website called SewMamaSew that does a giveaway round up. You can submit your giveaway to them, and they post lists grouped by type every week.

They feature other sewing related tutorials and give aways through out the year, too. Might be worth it to try contacting them? They have a pretty big following.

Re: Help with publicity for giveaway

I wouldn't follow a crap ton of people, it just clutters up your feed usually with content that you could care less about. Get on Pinterest and start following a ton of *boards* that are in your field. Not only do you get follow backs, but you get to keep up with emerging trends in your industry. You'll know which of your products may begin to become popular, which ones may decrease in popularity, and when you should start coming out with new ones.

As far as your giveaway: http://anyluckyday.com/giveaway-directories
Submit to all the free directories in that list.
