Help with Blog

Okay, now I know most of you know how to blog as I have heard about blog this and blog that. However I am new to all of this and need to know how to start a blog and where. Now I know I sound like I've been living under a rock, but I really need help with this. Could someone please direct me as to what I need to do..Thanks all

You can go to wordpress.com or blogger.com and register for an account. If you have a gmail, you don't have to "register" for a blogger account.

Then you just type and press publish :)

Once you get the hang of it, there are themes you can play around with to make your blog match your shop. Personally, I think blogger is more beginner friendly. But I've used both blogger and wordpress and like them both.

If you don't want to commit to long posts, you can try a Tumblr (tumblr.com). It's like the Twitter of the blog world.

There are lots of websites you can go through to create a blog. The one I use is googles blogs blogspot.com. Its free, there tons of other options though, you can google blog websites and most should be free to join. If you don't have a google account, its easy to create one, once you have one, it will let you pick your blogs name and they have layouts and designs to help you create your blog to look the way you want it it. Once it looks like how you want it to then you just needs something to talk about or pictures to post on it =)

I use blogger (blogspot) and recommend it especially if you are new to blogging. It is fairly user friendly and has a lot options for you to customize your blog.

I also use tumblr which is also fairly to use and free. But I mainly use it to post images of recent blog post, etsy, and society6 items and direct traffic to them.

I also use blogger (blogspot.com) which I think is fairly easy to use. They have tutorials about how to set it up, templates, etc. It's easy to upload photos (they will be stored in picasa) and all in all it is very user-friendly while being completely free. I like it a lot, although it has some hiccups every now and then.

I am not very computer savvy, so if I am able to blog successfully with blogger, anybody can.
