Help figuring out a style

For most of my jewelry I have a clear idea of what style it is, but I have some pieces that are more generic, therefore I'm having trouble coming up with tags and descriptive words for my titles. They are items that I would say appeal to more of the general population than my other pieces (edgy, rustic, industrial), but they aren't traditional or classic. Modern maybe?

I will post some examples. I would appreciate any help and advice that you can give me.

Re: Help figuring out a style

The first and last look kinda boho. I have a hard time since my style is traditionally bohemian, gypsy or hippie.
Good luck!
Think of yourself as a customer who is searching for your item. What do you search as far as the style...? I would expect the first and last to be layerable with other bangles, bracelets, and a long necklace of colors like that and be called boho.

Re: Help figuring out a style

The Chainmaille Bracelet looks kind of girly punk to me.

I like the punk descriptor. And industrial, edgy, maybe boho on the flowerier jewelry. Don't really see most of it as rustic? I'm not sure what I'd search for when trying to find those items, though. Sci fi inspired? I keep thinking of Lost Girl.

Re: Help figuring out a style

@L. Corina, Hmmm interesting, I like girly punk. Is that a term that is used or searched for often? I could use it for some of my other chainmaille.

@Tarren, I wouldn't have thought boho, but maybe. I know that is popular right now, so that could be good.

@Lix, I meant that some of my other pieces are rustic, edgy, or industrial, but not the examples that I posted. Those are more generic to me which is why I was looking for advice on what to call them.

Thanks guys!

Re: Help figuring out a style

Right. Sorry, I totally read your post all the way through but my brain is in waiting mode. Didn't Google have a keyword thing to determine how often something was searched for and how many hits it returned?

Yes, there is google ads. I've just started playing around with it. You type in a keyword and it will tell the average number of searches that keyword gets per month. I typed in girly punk and it was low (20 I think), but I still like it. :)

Re: Help figuring out a style

I wouldn't worry too much about the styles, but to concentrate on describing the items in a basic form (especially the generic ones). I know when I'm searching for jewelry, I don't search for styles. Lol
