You could also get the 'ends' from a paper mill that prints newspapers; my local paper is printed in the next twon over, and I bought a giant roll (a few hundred feet) from them for just a few dollars. You can get thin newspaper or thicker paper depending on what they have on hand. *NOTE* this paper is just plain white without any printing it, so it would be terrific for wrapping dresses in. Also, I love the idea of tieing a fabric scrap and a sucker to the package; i would use one of those iconic suckers of childhood, the ones with the loop handle! Also, I would have some eco cards printed from VistaPrint (I got 500 for under $10) and have your business name on the front and on the back I would explain how the package is eco friendly; that the paper is newspaper ends, saved from going into the landfil, and the ribbon is repuporsed, etc. I think people would love it, particularly if they understoop that everything was recycled, post consumer wate or repurposed. :-D
