Help! Inexplicable Home Page View

I'm scratching my head over a view on this item, which was the first item I ever listed back on October 3rd, that says it came from the Etsy Home Page (I am a member of Stat Team Beta). This is an "old" item, never renewed, never in a treasury...how is this possible????? I can't figure it out.

It could be possible that someone clicked on the 'search by color' tool on the bottom left-hand side of the screen. Or maybe they searched by location using the same area of the home page?

I have 5 of those Sarah. I think what they are (beacause I've never been on the home page either) for me, is either recently listed item or a search from the home page. I can't be THAT lucky to be front and center ....LOL

Jaime, I wondered about that myself and even tried searching similar colors and seeing if my item came up...it didn't. Even i they did, would that show up as a Home Page view?

Carol, well at least I'm not the only one confused with mystery home page hits. I KNOW mine is not from a recently listed item...it's just so strange.

Could it be one of the 'items matching your taste'?

Yeah, I would guess it came up in the taste test. That's the only other thing that would make sense, that I can think of.

If it was a taste test, it would say that in your stats. Sarah, I've had a couple 'etsy home page' views in my stats too! No idea why, how or what!

I have a question. Do you know when you are in a Treasury?

If you're in a treasury, you should see it in your activity feed.

I've had views from the home page too and wondered where that came from too.

I go to the home page, click on treasuries and search for my shop. all treasuries will come up there.
