When you add new products to your shop have you done a big/small product launch?

I'm getting ready to launch a new product range & am busy thinking of ideas for a launch.

Does anyone have anything that worked well for them?

First... Adorable shop.

When I have a new product that I want to promote, i sometimes will start with facebook, by talking it up before listing, then when its time, I just include a Facebook picture and brief outline with links to where it's listed, tweet it every day or two for awhile, and sometimes add to my blog the whole story.

I'm launching a whole new range of about 15-20 products so I'm thinking blog posts, facebook, twitter etc but wondering if I can do something else that might make more of a splash?

I'm doing a launch next week and scheduled a giveaway to coordinate with a Web site that promotes Indie stores. I started teasing on facebook and twitter, but hoping the giveaway gets the info out theres.
