Have you been asked for collaborations?

Recently, I've been asked by bloggers if I was interested in doing a collaboration with them (4 in fact). I visited their websites and it didn't seem that professional/or what I would want my jewellery to be affiliated with... question is, is any pubilicity good publicity? Or did I do the right thing with only working with blogs that I am comfortable with (most of them blogged in Italian, I can't even read it!) and feel it doesn't cheapen my product?

I recently did a collaboration with a friend of a friend which has been very successful and really happy with how it has all turned out.

Have you worked on a collaboration that has gone sour?

NO, any publicity is not good publicity. Your brand needs to be sacred to what you want to be associated with, and toward your target customer. If they are not a good match they are not a good match. You definitely are doing the right thing.

Sharon you made the right choice, these people are just after free stuff. They do it even more before the Christmas period for obvious reasons.

I agree, not all publicity is good publicity... unless you're Charlie Sheen. Then it just doesn't matter. Good for you, trusting your gut.
