HELP YOURSELF!

Yesterday I was thinking who to write to for featuring my etsy shop, I wrote to some blogs with such an offer but then a great idea (I hope it´s great, no, I´m sure) flashed through my head - DON´T WAIT FOR SOMEBODY TO HELP; HELP YOURSELF! WRITE ABOUT WONDERFUL PEOPLE BEHIND ETSY SHOPS YOURSELF! There are so many great people here, that are interesting & want to share. My blog don´t have many followers, but we´ll manage it together. I´ll give a feature for shops that I´ll find out myself. But if you want to help me to find you, comment here, & we´ll start our etsy shop love project :)

So I´m looking forward to hearing from you!

Hi,
I uploaded my listings to Stumble Upon. With the help of fellow etisians who stumbled my pages and I'm sure helped to get the word out, I got 1200 VIEWS in the past week of ONE ITEM!

So a big ol' THANK YOU to the etsy folks who stumbled. I've been away for a few days, logged on today and went, " What the...?" Anyhow, Just wanted to say, especially for niche items, it's a great idea to upload your items to StumbleUpon, and TAG THEM. :)

**I thought this thread was for promotional ideas. Anyhow, blog sounds awesome, hope this is helpful too. :)**

I would like someone to help me self promote. I'm not quite sure how it's done. I had knee replacement surgery and shoulder surgery this year and am trying to get noticed again. Anyone have any really good suggestions?

@Jursvi - sign up for an account w/ stumbleupon.com Then download the toolbar feature. Once you've signed up, you can simply type the address of your listing in the search bar, then "thumbs up" on the toolbar. It will bring up the option to add a description - add the description, add tags, and start stumbling! You can follow other people, who will then follow you, etc. Please feel free to email if you'd like to talk further. :)
