HELP YOURSELF!

Yesterday I was thinking who to write to for featuring my etsy shop, I wrote to some blogs with such an offer but then a great idea (I hope it´s great, no, I´m sure) flashed through my head - DON´T WAIT FOR SOMEBODY TO HELP; HELP YOURSELF! WRITE ABOUT WONDERFUL PEOPLE BEHIND ETSY SHOPS YOURSELF! There are so many great people here, that are interesting & want to share. My blog don´t have many followers, but we´ll manage it together. I´ll give a feature for shops that I´ll find out myself. But if you want to help me to find you, comment here, & we´ll start our etsy shop love project :)

I would love to, but my 14 year old son is going in for spine surgery on Tuesday. My brain is a bit scattered these days. But, I will give it a try and if it works out, that would be great. If my answers are not very good, I should be back to normal in about a month. He will be in the hospital for five days and then home for several months. What is your facebook link? I would love to give it a try. :)

I never understood how directing buyers to other sellers' shops would increase your business....
Not that I don't think it is a very kind thing to do.

@BeaG, the way it helps is that the more content you have on your blog the more traffic you can get. When people come to your blog, even though you write about other people, they still may see the great items you have also.

Also, the more links to your shop or blog that are out there in other places, the more relevant Google thinks you are, so that helps your shop, website, blog etc. to be ranked higher in searches.

Hi Jursvi!

I would be honored to be included in your blog. It's funny that you did a feature on the yevgenia shop. Her shop has been in my favorites since I had a 'buyer only' account! She was the first shop I went to for photography ideas too. I'm usually hesitant to respond to blog feature threads because my aesthetic may not match theirs, espesially for a blog I'm not already following. Since we have a matching 'favorite' I thouht I'd go ahead and respond. Let me know through convo if you'd like to collaborate.
