Grouping

Hi everyone. I have a question about grouping items in your shops. I've done some minor research and I've read that grouping can help increase shop coherence and potentially increase sales, but if I group too much I feel like some items won't be seen unless someone scrolls through every page of my shop. So I'm thinking of grouping in sets of 3 but I'm not entirely sure how to do it. Any suggestions? Do you group items in your shop, besides shop sections of course. If so, does it help increase your sales?

I don't group items in my shop. I don't know if it helps or hurts. I like the way it looks in some shops (especially when it's done by color - it looks very cohesive), but personally, I like to get a feel for everything the shop has, then use sections to narrow things down. I like to arrange my shop so that there's a good mixture of the items I have for sale on the first page without having too many of the same type of items right next to each other. I forget to arrange it a lot, so when I renew a lot of sold items it can get a bit messy.

That's what I currently do in my shop as well, but sales have slowed down so much in the last week that I'm curious about experimenting with some other methods

I have a section titled Bundles. Bundles do very, very well.

How many french fries would be sold if there were no Happy Meals?

Oh I meant how do you order the items in your shop. I definitely have lots of buy two and save deals!!

I have all my different items grouped together, but I only have 8 or less of each item. Even so I thought people maybe not want to wade through it all to find what they want, so I ordered my shop sections in the reverse order of my groupings. For example all tap handles are grouped together at the end of my listings, so tap handles is my first shop section listed.

I've not attempted to customize the order of items. It seems to time consuming and not worth it for my kind of items.

I DO like seeing some types of items shown by color, it's fun to look through!

I have to use all of my sections to group like items such as sterling silver earrings as an example or they would get lost among all the other jewelry. I wish we had more sections actually because I really need them!LOL
