Gift Bags

Hi everyone,

I'm making little crochet bags/envelopes as gift bags for my jewellery.

Do you think I need to promote this anywhere in my store, like including a line in each description, or should I forget it and just include the gift bag as a free gift?

I also create a handcrafted canvas bag and include a line about it in my discriptions. During the holiday season, this is a big plus and I normally include a picture of of packaging in several of my listings. I also include a link to my other listings where they can view the packaging.

I'd recommend that you promote it, many people like to have an idea of how you package your items. Being ready for gift giving could be a really good selling point- especially going into the holidays. You could include a picture of them in your listings or on your About page too.

Promote it definitely. Might entice people more to buy your item, plus they know it's going to be gift wrapped which saves the headache of gift wrapping if if it's a gift.

I would definitely include it in your listing and take a photograph of it to use in your listings (you know how customers can be sometimes with reading descriptions). Here is an example of another jewelry seller, she includes a picture of the packaging and I think it looks awesome:
