Hi Team,

Many of you have already heard – Etsy search now defaults by relevancy. HeyMichelle and I are working on a blog post to help you get the most out of this change. In addition to this great post by Natalie, "Putting Your Shop on Top : Etsy’s Most Relevant Search"

I would def. like to be considered! I have worked hard for the last 3 Plus years
product, banner, etc. I know I have a nice product line, but I need to learn description and tags better. Being dyslectic does not help. Art is easy, spelling, vocabulary and numbers are not! ;-)

I NEED feedback and help on how to optimize my tags and descriptions Right now I am getting about 12 visits a day on my site but I obviously need more. I want to make sure that my items are even being viewed, which I doubt they are. Not as much as I would like them to be. Thanks for any help!

I've been working on making my titles read more "direct "for example "Green Resin and Silver Cuff links" instead of "Green cuff links in resin and silver" but I don't know how long a title should be or whether colour is relevant.

I've always used all my tags but how do I need to change them now there are all those lovely categories to choose from?

I specifically need help on interpreting my shop stats.

Who doesnt need help? I think everyone could use some help. I especially could. I have seen a slight increase in my views lately, and it has given me the fire to do all I can to get more. A couple of my items in particular get great views but everything else falls flat. help! I have started to rework titles and keywords on the advice of the latest success e-mail.

I would love some help. I went in and changed/added to my tags for each item. I changed my shop title/profile as I read that seo's search the profile as well as the shop title.

I have been trying to figure out why my shop stats have dropped drastically. I even thought maybe my shop wasn't active anymore....that is how bad it has been. I have just signed up for a web design class at our community college. That will start on the 17th of Aug. If you could provide help before that I would really appreciate it.

Hi! I would love for you to take a peek at my shop and rip it open to more views! I have been working on titles and tags without much difference in views as of yet. I did get a big hit from exposure in "the Finds" a few weeks back and would love to know how to best capitalize on that. Your help and advice would be greatly appreciated : )

I would love to have this makeover I know have great and unique products now I just have to figure out how to get shoppers to see them! So far I have been utilizing Shop Stats and really seeing which keywords are most consistent. I think the part I need the biggest help is tagging (my old arch enemy)

Hello...I have a new Scrapbooking store here and have little success(2 sales).
I use descriptive Titles and Tags,I believe my issue lies with not knowing which category to place my items as there is really not a definite category for what I sell.

I don't know if I'm doing ok or not - my sales are not bad but they're not great and I do get featured in several treasuries daily. I average about 2 sales a day but I think I can do much better. I know my clothes are well made because my in-person sales at boutiques and craft shows are high - but I feel like on etsy my items are sometimes hard to find because there are so many irrelevant items in a search. I really like the new system and have seen more people adding me as a favorite this week. But my sales are really down and I don't know if it's just a bad week or if it's related to the changes.

I use different words for the same color like: teal, turquoise, blue, aqua. I also consider spellings in other countries like gray vs grey. And I try to use keywords that describe the actual construction of my garments like: boatneck, knee length, gathered...but I think I'm still lacking. I think I'm just a little off track

My shop has been open about 3 months and I have been working hard at SEO the entire time. But I could sure use some help. Digital art prints can be so hard to categorize since the subject matter is all over the place. And they are something that people may not know they are searching for until they see it, so I'm not sure how to use search terms to best advantage. I get likes and good comments, but I know I need to get a lot more views in order to get sales.

I have needed so much help with tags and views it is not even funny.
Today I went through moat of all my 100+ items to see if they are correct and jive with the rules of tagging. It seems that children clothing is so hard with so many ways to even start with the first tags that we select from the drop sown menu....do I choose clothing or children...ugh the possibilities are endless.... I soooooo hope that I am chosen as working at home with a one year old is no fun with over one hundred items to update and change.

I used to be able to pay my bills from my Etsy sales and new traffic from Google. Now I am at the bottom of the google search engine.. There are even blank and irrelevant pages ahead of mine! I have been playing with the wording and titles. My Etsy traffic is up but my Google traffic is still very low. I would love some advice!

I would absolutely LOVE some help! I've been reading everything and tried to get things going but it just seems to drop off into no mans land somehow.
I have changed my titles and brightened my photo's, used models in pictures, and changed my logo all to be more professional and have a better outlook on my shop. BUT...
it seems like it just isn't good enough, I would LOVE the opportunity to have etsy help me and my shop soar! Thank you so much in advance for the opportunity to get help! :)

I've been working on rewriting my titles and tags based on the 7-28-11 post re putting your shop on top. I've only revised about 20% of my items and I'll keep working on this over the next three days. I keep learning more as I go. I have been working hard on tags and keywords.I've researched them and have made changes. I've also changed my titles and have been experimenting with different titles to see what gets the most views. I've also been paying attention to shop stats even though I'm not 100% sure that I understand everything. I don't think my items have been picked up on Google at all. I've printed out Etsy's SEO guide but I struggle making sense of it all. I went through my store & redid all of my photos & cropped them & used natural lighting after watching the photography workshop video. So it's not like I'm not trying really, really hard to make this work. I could really use the help. Thanks!!!
