I was thinking it would be helpful to compile a list of free places to advertise our shops. So far I'm using these places:

I had to come back to this thread and add Reddit.com to the list I've been getting 15+ views a day from there since I started using it!

In another discussion there is a list of about 100 different sites that offer free advertising. Here are a couple we started using two days ago and views have increased:

Before I do this, let me warn you that it is A LOT of information. Not every site is going to be an asset for every shop either.

But for 3 months your shop will get more exposure! I emailed the guy and he said they are thinking of making it free for 6 months so get on it! *** etsylush.com ( you can submit to the main category for free or for 3.00 you can have your item on the front page for one month. I have submitted to both and the main category, which is free, has gotten me many views)
pinterest.com (You make boards, like treasuries. People like and re-pin items. You name the boards anything you like)

Craigslist.com (go to classified ads for sale and then to crafts)
craftseekers.com (Go to submit a site and add your shop to the free bronze listing)

I have to add, because I have a possible sale because of this *right now*, and have successfully made a sale in the past this way, but just making my latest work my "cover photo" on my FB gets people talking and interested. I haven't even tried this with my business page (Though now I am going to start) but just on my personal page so far. :)

Thanks Heather for sharing. Rhody did a tremendous job putting it together. I am still only about 1/3 of the way through but have gotten a decent amount of views from some, others not so much.

I tried to put my products to wanelo.com, my below product got 38 views by one day, which it used to get several views a day.
