Find Success with Group Pinterest Boards

I have had great success with traffic from pinterest, but have learned that group boards provide an amazing community of pinners that help grow traffic for your shops!

I have created a series of group boards on Pinterest to help create a great location for you to promote your own shops, as well as your favorite items.
It is almost a blank slate, ready to be filled with your input, items, and hopefully increase traffic and sales for all involved! I hope that this can help this wonderful easy community forum that has been encouraging and informative to me in my etsy journey.

You can find the pinterest board by searching under pinner name etsy success.
To pin to a group board, you must first join tone or more specific category board.
To join a board, follow all boards and then leave a comment on a pin stating join, and I will add you to the board. You will receive notification in your pinterest profile to accept the invitation.
At that point, you may pin according to the guidelines for number of daily pins and appropriate content. I will continue to add boards as requests come along, but hope this is a helpful way to promote shops and products, as well as this wonderful easy community.

It looks like the boards are sinew, they won;t show up in search for a little while, so you may have to go to the direct link using the www.pinterest entry then /etsysuccess/

You did! I am not sure they were the clearest, but you managed to do awesome! Many bloggers have reported that their traffic soared immensely after group boards were formed and there was constant new activity on there! The more that join, follow & pin, the more each seller might be found!

I worked hard to curate and promote my personal pinterest boards and receive quite a bit of traffic to my shop from there, many directly resulting in sales, so it makes sense that a creative and active boards will draw attention!

Please make sure content is family friendly, nothing inappropriate.
Also to keep the content varied (which keeps interest and variety) a maximum of two pins per board daily.

Also, after you follow the site, the group boards all follow your personal pinterest site back too, so that all pins show up to your traffic feed as well as all group pincers...see where it starts to get fabulous?

Not to be a killjoy, but I joined a couple of group boards and my feed was literally flooded with pins from the group, so much so that I couldn't see pins from anyone else that I follow. I had to leave the groups because it was overwhelming. I'm also very careful about which of my own items that I pin. Being a card seller, my items are more likely to be repinned for copying than for buying.

thanks for checking in! I have the boards following you, but pinterest won't let me add you to a group board unless you follow all boards. Just follow all, then let me know which boards you want to be added to (I am assuming all the jewelry ones, but you might want more :)

Thanks for your input. I understand, and know it isn't for all. My sister is a very popular blogger with tens of thousands of followers, and she noted that she will have pins virally pinned up to 100,00 to 500,00 times through group boards, significantly more than from her own blog one. That type of incredible exposure for free can be priceless if you find Pinterest to be a compliment to your shop and bring in sales.

Guess I could be wrong, but I think pinning to "Etsy" group boards would do me about as much good as posting new items on random Etsy teams wbich allow such things.

Having said that, however, I am a BIG fan of pinning to Pinterest group boards, but I prefer to pin to boards where my target customers are likely to be found ... for the same reason that I would do a craft fair because my target customers are likely to shop there.

I don't think Pinterest is a great promoting tool and I would imagine pinning together with lots of other sellers is even less of a success.
Of course, if you love using Pinterest, pinning stuff and making boards, you could give it a try.
I just don't think it is very effective marketing-wise.
