Whenever I am on Etsy trolling in the forums I always see:
1. People talking about their favorite item in their own shop
2. People talking about their favorite item in "the shop above" (you know that new catchy game)
3. People listing their latest items/ treasuries (which I don't know if that's actually helpful - I tend to think those kinds of posts are too overwhelming to actually look through).
What I do not see is people talking about what isn't getting looked at in their shop. I think this is a good area to look at because as an artist, I'm only listing something if I think it is good. It makes me ask, "Well if I like this item so much, why isn't anyone looking at it?"

What I thought we might do here is list an item or 2 from our shop and ask the next person to look at it, and provide a little insight as to why that item isn't getting many views (does it appeal to you? Are the photos okay? Is the listing descriptive enough? Are your tags appropriate? Etc.) That person will then post their critique of the item, giving the previous artist a little feedback. They will end their post by listing the item from their own shop with the fewest views, and the process with start over. Give a critique, get a critique.

What do you think? I will go ahead and star off - if you think this is a good plan jump on in and critique away.
