Fake gauges?

I was thinking I would make fake gauges you know the things that go through a HUGE hole in your ear? I was thinking of making fake ones out of a normal stud earring to make a gauge effect for it. I can give some photos but I would only list if they would sell so I wanted your opinion!

They sell pretty well here. One of the top jewelry seller sells fake gauge earrings.
