FB ads: yay or nay?

I am tempted to try Facebooks ads again. I tried before, but the photo of my blocks apparently had "too much" text, they took my money, and after the ad "ran" (or so I thought), I received a message that it didn't run because it didn't meet their criteria (again, had "too much text" on my photo). I tried to fight it without any response.

My question is - has anyone tried FB ads? Any success? I am intrigued by the thought again (if I can figure out how to not have "too much text" with my blocks) - but am l questioning myself.

Yeah, I get the too much text thing when I try, too. Though yours is trickier since its your products that have the text! Every time I try a fb ad, I swear I'm not going to do it again. But I always find myself intrigued to try again a few months down the road.

I haven't tried for my Etsy shop, but I run a fashion shop with my sister on storenvy and I used FB ad for it.

I've spent about $12 and got 28 likes for it. I'm not too sure if that's worth it, really.
