Re: Eureka Guides

I'm not sure why you would want to purchase any guide when you can find all the information that's in any of the guides to be found on Etsy right in the Etsy seller's handbook.

And as for the twitter guides you can find most of what's in the guides right from the twitter help pages and the twitter newsletter.

Personally I think they are a waste of money.

I've managed to be 'fairly successful' here on Etsy without them.

Just my 2 cents.

Re: Eureka Guides

The learning curve in selling online is really steep(steeper and harder for some then others markets) From SEO to photography to everything else and I wont claim some mastery of any... but it feels like there is a perception difference in how you look at selling.

Any and all guides, Dont have some magical ta da secret info you cant find for free somewhere else.
So you have a choice...do the leg work yourself, or have someone lay it all out for you if you pay $.
BUT either way, You still need to switch up how your looking at things and thats the hard part.

Re: Eureka Guides

I have and they work. I was on the FP within 2 weeks of using the guide (other shop). Then I was on again less than a week after that. They work if you need a little help and have a few bucks to spare.

But you have to do the work.
