Etsy home page views

I noticed that today I had small spike on my views, and they came from "Etsy home page". I know you can get these views by either being featured on a front page treasury or when your item show up when you just posted it.
The thing is, neither of those things happened today...
The item I received those views is an item that a renewed about a month ago and I didn't really make it to the front page. So how was my item on the front page.

This Treasury hit the front page this morning - you were in it. Congrats!

It was not enough views to be a front page treasury...
I wonder if it was those "gift guides" at the top of the home page???

That Treasury was FP this morning, and you're in the bottom row. You won't get as many views if other items from the Treasury don't sell. You were an alternate in the Treasury that made FP. I've been an alternate before as well, and while you'll see a spike in views, it won't be as high as if you were in the first three rows.

How did u figure out that it was on the front page , Erin? Is there a search tool you used? Would love to know. :-) tx

Wow congrats! being on a treasury on the home page is every seller's dream i presume :) Well it is mine for sure :)

thank you so much for letting me know Erin! I didn't even think about doing a search because the spike was so small... it makes total sense being an alternate...
