As I am currently trying to improve and change my Facebook marketing efforts, I found the "5 Practical Tips to get more from Facebook" quite helpful. I also enjoyed reading "A day without distraction, 12 hours of forced focus"...effective time management is also a challenge, so reading about this experiment was interesting.

Wow so much to learn...I really enjoyed the "Yes And" article & the "A day without distraction" but I think the most important one for me was the "Facebook" one.....I need to go over that again....thanks heaps xox Jo

I recently attended a training seminar on the concept of Lean which is used within Supply chain and manufacturing organizations. The blog of the 12 hour set schedule reminded me of the waste elimination concepts as well as some of the rules such as structuring every activity and simplifying processes that were discussed in the training. Since then I have been thinking a lot about how I do work within my own business. Do you ever notice that the featured shop owners (quit your day job) always seem to have a set schedule of personal time, computer time,
and work time?

I found the piece on 'Forced Focus' interesting, i've been finding it very hard to complete my list for the day with focus, and i end up being all over the place,so i'm going to try that one next week and see how i get on.
hopefully it'll help me to feel more satisfied with the amount of work I get done and the ease with which its done

I am always leary about time spent on Facebook but I also don't want to ignore it if it can be a valuable promotional tool. The article on F.book is the first article I read...thanks Etsy Success Team.
