Espress Mail Listing and Gift wrapping?

Just a couple quick questions....does anyone put up a separate listing for express overnight delivery that the customer can buy at his or her discretion? And do you offer special gift wrapping this time of year? Do you charge for it in a separate listing also?? Is this even legal on Etsy?? Thanks for any info!!

Re: Espress Mail Listing and Gift wrapping?

I offer free gift wrapping, but not just this time of the year, I offer it with every purchase.
I can't offer overnight delivery, because there is no way any package could arrive from Europe to USA over night ;-)

Re: Espress Mail Listing and Gift wrapping?

I automatically gift wrap each order in tissue & tie with a ribbon (no extra charge).
I sell internationally too - so aren't able to offer an over-night delivery service (be great if we could though!! :-D)

I read that you can have a separate listing for shipping upgrades now, yes.

I have one....but i mostly direct people to use the shipping upgrades option in the cart screen....i think that shipping upgrades are available to everyone now as well.

Re: Espress Mail Listing and Gift wrapping?

I've seen others with listings for gift wrapping.

I enclose my ornaments in a colorful gift box and tie with cute ribbon. It's easy to slide the ribbon off, open the box, examine the item and then repackage as a gift. Wrapped...but available for review.

Re: Espress Mail Listing and Gift wrapping?

I don't put up separate listings for priority or express however, I simply offer them as a shipping upgrade in the actual listing.

If you don't already have access add the upgrades you can join the Shipping upgrades prototype

Re: Espress Mail Listing and Gift wrapping?

I have a rush delivery service which I offer as a separate listing. My normal turn around time is 1-2 weeks, plus first class shipping. But sometimes people need something way faster, so the rush listing ($7) bumps your order to the top of my list and includes Priority shipping, there's a separate one for Overnight.

I wrap everything in white tissue, ribbon and a sticker with my business name. I don't think that's really what people want to put under the tree this time of year. I used to have a $5 gift wrapping upgrade, but I haven't kept it current as it wasn't that popular and there are some things that are weird sizes and shapes that wouldn't work for that type of wrapping.

Re: Espress Mail Listing and Gift wrapping?

I offer free gift wrapping if the purchaser would like. But as a standard I do tie each item nicely and include my business card with the invoice. No invoice of course if the item is gift wrapped.

I do not post an extra listing for mail upgrades. I don't even really mention it on my site. Maybe I should, but I have had people ask me for it if they want it quicker so I don't think its an issue for me.
