End of January GOALS!!

I find goals/targets to be very motivational, and help keep me creating and not relaxing :-)

I know there have been a lot of threads about end of 2012 goals, but that is so far away it seems a little abstract- and doesn't create much urgency (for me anyway).

So I thought end of the month goals may be more realistic, which then obviously feed into an end of year goal.

I had previously said I wanted to get to 200 sales by the end of March, I am now making 200 sales my end of January goal! (I sell quite a lot of individual colorig pages, which are priced very low- hence the high number of sales goal). Even so, this may be a tad ambitious, but I find ambitious targets the best for motivation. I plan to reach my goal by keeping on creating- I have so many ideas on the go right now, it's just a question of finding the time to make them all!

What's your goal for the end of the month? Please share! And also, how are you going to get there?!

My current goal is to have 100 items in my shop - I now have 86, so this might be possible before the end of January.
Another one is to reach is 50 sales - I am now at 47, so definitely hope this will happen before the end of the month!
Another goal is to be featured in a newsletter - but how do you make that happen?? Just try to do my best to make good items and market them well, I suppose...

My January goal is to earn enough to pay off my monthly student loan bill. I'm starting to think that I might actually be able to make it!

I would like have 63 items listed by end of month. I have 59 now, plus one not photographed but ready otherwise. I really want to have a sale or two also(currently at 42, would love to hit 50 by end of March, my Q1). And, hopefully have my first wholesale order completed (just waiting for her to fulfill the invoice sent).

I would like to add at least 1 more full page of items to the shop. And by the end of February I would like to add another 2 pages.

I also want to have our website up and running, pointing to the Etsy store, as well as have all the photos of my intimate jewelry redone with a torso so you can see our the nipple charms hang.

Great goals there, and great thread Joanne :). My goal is to have 50 items listed by the end of the month. Have lots of ideas but not as much time to bring them into reality. Still, I am not giving up.

New goal- stop playing with my resin after I pour it!!!! Ahhhh, I am covered in it- it was fine before- now it's a messssss!!!! Ugghhh.... Only you people understand- my girls just laugh at me....who am I kidding- I am a train wreck...who wouldn't watch a train wreck and laugh...okay they wouldn't laugh at an actual train wreck.....

Okay a little off topic i went- we are talking about goals- stop touching the resin.

My goal for January is 30 new listings. I started the month at 88, I'm now at 110. I 've got 8 more to go and 6 of them are on the work bench now. Since I can't control sales, this is one thing I can wrap my freakishly controlling mind around. It's good to know I'm not alone in this cyber shop world.

I'd like to be at 40 listings before the end of the month. Which is achievable so I'm not pushing myself too hard as it's been a very interesting week for us!

My goals for this month are:
1) become more proficient at using social media (spec. facebook) to promote my business
2) add a few more items to my shop
3) find out about local shows & sales events for 2012

I am almost there because I have a meeting This Tues. with a local "facebook guru" friend of mine for tips and help with my page and I have some new pottery pieces in the works. I also spent Sunday meeting with local Etsians to discuss ways in which we can collaborate on sales events and help promote each other and then I spent Monday signing up for a couple of Artisan groups and getting info. on a new artisan event in my area happening over the summer.

It feels good to get a few things accomplished toward improving my business . Now if only a few more sales...... ;)

My goal is to list 5-10 items a week. I need to re-stock my shop after the holidays. I'd like to get my shop back up to 150 listings.

I also am working on restocking my shop and getting some inventory back. When that is done, probably by the end of February, I will be adding new items. I would like to have 120 items by the end of March.

If I get one more sale this month I'll be on track to reach my longer term goal to hit 50 sales by mid summer when I take an extended vacation with the fam. I also want to add as much inventory as possible this month, because I'm having a baby next month and won't be doing much sewing after. I'm hoping I can just promote and send shipments of what sells to take it easy for a bit.

My goal for January is to sell something to a stranger! I have had a couple sales, but to people I know. I am DELIGHTED and honored to sell to my friends, but it would be exciting to sell to someone I don't know!

i really want to get 15 sales by the end of the month. starting january i only had 5 and now i have made 13.

i also want to add some more items and work on some of my pictures from when i first started etsy (they were pretty bad as a was using my phone for a camera. i havent gotten much better but at least a little bit)

i would also love to get at least 10 more admirers by the end of the month!
