Yep, that's sounds dodgy to me. I've had similar messages on ebay like that, and they are always from Africa oddly. They want you to give them your bank details so they can 'supposedly' pay you, what's wrong with paypal if they are genuine. I wouldn't give them my bank details!

wow..anyone wanting a bank transfer makes me wonder! This is the 2nd time... I can't believe these people!

But even if I give them the info to transfer money, they really can't do anything to my account I suppose...

It really does sound scammy. I'd avoid it completely, especially after reading the part that says "also with your full info." Bad news!

what they do is "accidentally" send you too much money and request a refund from you. You send the refund and then the next day find out the original deposit bounced and was no good. Now you're probably out your product (which frankly they didn't want in the first place) and the money you sent to them.

I woulld either ignore the message or tell them that you ONLY use paypal and NO Bank Tranfers. Seems very weird and odd. Why would they be in such a hurry.

Yep, that screams scam. There were similar postings in the forum over the weekend from other etsy members who had received similar scam messages. Thanks for sharing the info....helps others know what to look out for.

I definitely agree with everyone else on this one. Scam scam scam. I got a letter in the mail the other day from Tanzania asking for my full info so that they could transfer 7 million dollars to my account.

I think this is just another version of that type of scam. Avoid it completely.
