Does anyone use Mailchimp

Does anyone currently use Mailchimp on here? I was thinking about starting my own newsletter to email out to people and hopefully drive traffic to my shop. I was going to use Mailchimp as my software but I'm not sure how to connect it with my Etsy shop or webpage to allow people to sign up and be on my email list. Any help would be appreciated!

I use it to send updates from my blog, but I can't help you with Etsy connectivity. I really like the features, though!

you can't connect it to Etsy. If you have a webpage, you can add a bit of html code to get the sign up form. For Etsy, just have people email you to be added :)

I use it for my blog's newsletter. I have a special coupon code in the newsletter for blog subscribers. It's been pretty useful in my shop giveaway. I would definitely recommend starting one, as it does take a little while to gather email addresses.

You'll have to connect it to your webpage to "host" it, but I include the link in my shop announcement, on my profile page, and in the shop message/shipping notification.

I use it, I think it's great, mails look great. I don't beleive you can connect it with your Etsy shop because people should suscribe filling a form to get your mail. Good luck!

I use it on by blog and I like it. I am not sure how it will go here on etsy. I do not mean integrating. I am interested in marketing part and my existing mailing lists have nothing to do with etsy.

I use it on my blog too. As far as I know there is no way to put the code in etsy to get people to sign up. I just created a page on my blog and then I link to that in my Etsy store policies. I also mention it when I email people their patterns.

To create the emails though, I have found a wonderful app that connects right to your Etsy shop so you don't have to upload pictures and stuff to a mailchimp campaign. it takes a bit to get used to how it works, but I have liked it so far!

A little tip though, if you misspell something while using this app. Start a whole new campaign. I tried to edit a misspelling and it looked like it changed, but when the email was sent the misspelling was still there. Other than this quirk, it's a great, easy way to send a campaign.

Thanks so much every one for the advice, I've been playing around with it and love all of their templates and such for the emails. When I put the HTML code onto my blog do you know if I have to purchase the Integration software from a third party or is there a way to link it to my blog straight from Mailchimp? Thanks again!

I use it for a newsletter for one of my teams. So far it's been a great tool and although it does take a bit of learning and practice.

I use it for my studio for local events, as well as etsy shop updates. I like it so much I have my sign up front and center on my web page, paired with my etsy shop. I also put my web page info on my header on etsy. I find it pretty convenient and helpful. I used to use constant contact, but mailchimp is free & easier!
