Do you think websites like Tophatter are hurting

etsy sales?
A lot of people are concerned because sales and views are down.
I am wondering if people know they can get a lot of the same items over there cheaper. I sold a couple things on there but gave up because I could never get nything scheduled which tells me the website must be very successful.

I don't understand Tophatter...seems so slow....when I'm looking to buy something, I want to move ON 'til I find what I want

I used to sell on tophatter. I stopped because it is not really for handmade things anymore. Don't get me wrong, I used to be able to sell some of my things on there for a reasonable rate, but now most things sell for under $5. These days it's pretty much strictly resellers.
