I'm back again to ask for opinions on pictures! I just changed my backgrounds from white to nature and I would like to know whether they are good or not (I am a pretty bad photographer and I'm hoping you can tell what it is in the picture). Thanks so much; everyone on these forums have been so helpful!

The photo could be a little brighter, but the items fit the frame nicely. (You can edit brightness with a free program like PicMonkey.)

There are a couple (like the owl) that might need a little cropping. In the owl picture, I can see a little something in the back near the top in the background. My eye automatically goes there and not to your cute owl.

What I like about both photos (this one and the one she chose) is that there is an element of pop. In this photo the faces pop, so the items don't get lost in the green background. Your photos look good, nice job!

I think I commented on your photos in the past, and it looks like the tops of heads are still being cropped off. This is distracting, no matter what background you are using. The grass is pretty. Is that something you can use all year round? Are you able to work with your camera to improve focus and cropping?

Yes, I'm trying to work on not cutting off their heads. I was able to fix a few and I'll probably work on it some more tomorrow. My camera probably has been dropped too many times, that's about as focused as close ups ever are on it. And I'll have the green grass year round unless it snows. And when it does...I'm not sure what I'll do. Thanks for bringing that up!
