Diversity of products or stick to one item with variations?

Hi all! I opened my etsy shop about a month and a half ago. The reason I opened my shop was mainly for the nursing covers I make, but I have also added some other items. Do you think it's better to have a diversity of baby items or should I stick to just stocking my shop with different patterned nursing covers?

I would like to know more about that also. I have a few things in my shop.

I think if your items are related, you can definitely diversify your shop.

When I first opened my shop, I sold banners. Since then I have expanded to party supplies like invitations and confetti as well. But I also do sell blankets. I added blankets because they can be purchased as a gift for mostly an event. I think the key point is that the items have to be related some how.

Good Luck!

If you can branch out with related products and keep everything looking cohesive then that's what I would recommend doing. I currently carry a select few products and am working on expanding my line of products.

One thing to consider is that diversification gives you to opportunity to show up in more/different searches since you can use some different tags and titles.

Good luck! :)
