Discount for the rest of December

Hey guys!:)

Is anyone doing any discounts in there shop for the rest of December ? I want to do a discount of 20 percent off of any item that's over $20 dollars, is that to much of a discount? How do I go about doing this do I need to have a code for people , any advice will help .

For now I don't have sales for December but if you want to make some I found a very useful tool for doing them really easy. It's etsy on sale you can make your sales events and change your tags here I have a link where you can get free credits! Try it ;)

Only you know if you can afford to offer a 20% discount. Etsy coupon codes are for your entire shop. You can't tell Etsy what items to apply the code on. If you use EtsyOnSale you can specify sections but I'm not sure if you can limit the sale to certain items.

I'm going to run a sale on certain Christmas items starting Dec. 26 thru the 31st. I'd like to move whatever leftover ready to ship holiday items are still in my shop on Christmas. The made to order holiday cards will be deactivated probably late next week. I don't want people asking me for a rush order two days before Christmas. lol

No discounts, but giving free gift wrap for all orders in December.

I should have mentioned that I'll have to change my prices manually because I don't have any credits left on EtsyOnSale and I'm not discounting all my holiday items. Some of them can be used for other occasions.

Use craftopolis.com to edit prices. Super easy and just a few clicks.

Norma, you can do discount sections with EtsyOnSale. It's recommended that you promote your sale on Facebook and in your shop announcement. :) Good luck!
