Direct Checkout

Hi there,

I live in the UK and jumped at the opportunity to have Direct Checkout in my shop, when it became available to me a little while ago.

I have definitely noticed an increase in sales from having the option and would highly recommend it to anyone who's unsure about it.

Has anyone else noticed an increase in their sales from having DC?

i only had 2 DC sales until now but i can´t say if i´ve had them too if there was no DC
anyway i like being able to offer another opportunity

I have activated it on 02.10.2013 and I have had 6 sales now through DC. Really happy it has been activated for Belgium !

I think it has made a difference as I've had over 10 sales use direct checkout. Would they have bought item anyway? Also its a busier time of year, who knows, but definitely worth it. I'm also in UK and its a welcome addition.

I've always only had DC, and last week a customer contacted me asking why I didn't have Paypal as an option. I didn't think it was necessary to have both when I first opened my shop. After that customer messaged me I went ahead and set up Paypal as an option in my shop and I've totally seen an increase in sales! Shop owners should definitely set up as many payment options as possible, as soon as possible!

When I first put DC into my shop, I had a sale almost immediately. Would they have purchased if it was PayPal only? I'll never know. But since then, sales have been pretty equally divided between the two options.

One thing I have 'thought' I noticed: the more expensive items have been purchased with DC. Not always, but it seems that way. to me. imo.

I've had DC and Paypal since I reopened this shop a year ago. My sales are split about equally for each type of payment. I can't imagine not offering both. Not everyone likes Paypal but there are also those like me who prefer to only pay with Paypal.
