DOES different forms of payment help?

Have you Offered payment forms of check or money order and seen a boost in buisness?

Just wondering, I only offer paypal.

I wanted to hear about people check or money order success?

I've accepted checks twice, by request from buyer. I DO require the check to clear banks before I send out purchase, I make sure the buyer knows and agrees with this!.. I wouldn't add it as an option...then you wouldn't have any controll over it.

I accept Paypal, personal checks and money orders. I do state in my policies that I will not ship the item until their check/money order has been received and cleared my account. So far the few orders I have had have all been through Paypal. I think most buyers prefer using it for their own ease and safety, I know I do!

I have no problem with checks or MO's at least you miss the pay-pal fees. Mostly people use pay-pal. The check has to clear before I ship so it's more time consuming for each side but money is money! I can't spell business right all the time either!!

I take everything but don't send the item until the check or money order clears. You want to eliminate as many barriers to a customer making a purchase as possible. The more forms of payment you accept the more potential customers you have.

I've had several orders in this shop and my other one that have been paid for by check, and gone through successfully. Just make sure that the check or money order has cleared your bank before you mail the item.
