Curious About Views When Shop is on Vacation

I put my two shops on vacation to overhaul, regroup, organize, etc. I just noticed that I do get views, even if the shops are on vacation. My stats show the items that have been viewed. I thought you could not view any of the items when a shop was on vacation. Is this normal?

People can still watch your sold items, about page, shop page, etc.

When a shop is on vacation, and even if an items listing has expired, or an item is sold, I noticed they usually still appear in my favorites list, though not in my treasuries (the vacation ones do stay in the treasuries, I think). So if someone views my favorites, or treasuries, they can pull up your item.
