Critique

I'm looking for reviews of my listings and overall shop appearance from fellow Etsians! It's really hard to step back and see my shop from a buyers standpoint since I am my shops own worst critic!

What message am I sending to my buyers? Are my products unique? Do my photos grab your attention? Are they clear? Would you personally buy from my shop? Any other suggestions or comments about my shop and listings would be greatly appreciated!

A couple listing examples:

Thanks so much!

Re: Critique

Katie,
You have absolutely beautiful necklaces and rings! The pictures you have of your rings are great, but the necklaces on the wooden table are not flattering. Stick a white piece of typing paper or something similar under the necklace and then photograph it. White backgrounds make such a big difference. It looks like the lighting is good but the beauty gets lost in the dark wood.
Good luck!

Re: Critique

Hi Katie,
I agree with Annie. Your photos and items look great except for the background. A flat white background is always good for making your item pop off the page visually. Also search other successful Etsy jewelry shops and determine which photos look great to you and why and try to emulate those qualities.
Under your name on your first page you don't list your location. I personally always look at the seller's location first thing.
Another suggestion would be to rearrange your shop so that a few of your printable items show up on the first page so that people can see the various categories of your products right away on the first page.
Best of luck to you!

Re: Critique

Yes, yes, yes Katie to all your questions. LOL :) Love your shop. I'll be coming back for some of those knuckle rings, wear those all the time! And yes, add a white background like mentioned above. Use natural light and take a few pictures of them being worn. The only other thing I would add is join social media....IG, FB, and Twitter. Get your brand out there for others to start liking and add as many items to your shop as possible.
