Critique Request

Anybody willing to take a peek at my shop and give it some criticism? I'd appreciate it, thanks!! We could also start a critique chain...everyone critiques the shop who posted before them! :)

Re: Critique Request

Hi Anna

Your designs are great and your photos are nice (although you need at least one photo of the piece on a white background to get into editorial and inspiration boards).

Maybe try not to keyword stuff your listing titles. Other than that, you just need to promote your pieces to the fashion media, maybe under the pitch of Jewelry Finds under $50, that kind of thing.

Re: Critique Request

Hi Anna,

Based on your shop announcement
""""I will include a message from you in the gift box if you would like to ship it to someone special! Send me a note and let me know! :)

Welcome to Banana Grove! "Like" me on Facebook for sales and giveaways: http://www. facebook. com /bananagrove
Follow me on Pinterest: http:// pinterest. com /bananagrove/
AND CHECK OUT MY BLOG: http:// bananagrovedesigns. blogspot .com/"""

I really have no idea what you are selling other than possibly gift boxes.

Its fine to have all that information in the shop announcement but I'd put it AFTER you state what you are selling. The shop announcement is prime real estate for being found so keywords and keyword phrases in your opening sentences are very important.

You may want to update your shop location I'm not sure how many people will be looking for items from 'Midwest'. I'd at least put your country there so that you have a better chance of being found by people who are looking to purchase from local shops. This gets even more important when it comes to holiday shopping when time is of the essence.

When is Mother's Day in Midwest? I know that its at different times of the year for different places but if your Mother's Day has passed I'd suggest that you update your shop.

You may want to read the 'critique your own shop' blog post at

for some other ideas.
