Re: Circles

I didn't think they would so I avoided adding any 'circles'. Yesterday I decided to try adding people since several people have added me to theirs. I definitely don't like how it 'clutters' my activity feed and I have to keep pushing the button to not show all of 'their' activity.

Re: Circles

How does it get your shop exposure? Surely it only promotes thing you circle. Guess I'm being thick here! (again).

Re: Circles

Circles help when others "heart" your product. Then whatever they "heart" gets shared with their circles. So really you're sharing your interests not your products. I wish circles did post your new listings but that's what "favourite shops" are for. It's silly that they're separate really since I circle people instead of favouriting their shops most times.

Re: Circles

I think I made a sale to someone in my circle... just when I thought it was going to be a waste of time. So yeah, I think it's a useful thing. (I like looking at other people's stuff in my news feed, too.)

Re: Circles

ANY free exposure is a good thing. It clutters my feed too...but think about it this way...person A has fav'd your shop, but only has 1 person in their circle. You list an item. Person A gets to see that item because they fav'd you. ONE other person also sees that item. Now take Person B, who has also fav'd your shop but is involved in 2000 circles...how many people do you think see your just listed item???? This is my understanding of the way it works...and so it is a combo of your shop/item being fav'd and the # of circles you are participating in...
please someone correct me if I am wrong...
i also took a long time to enter the circling thing, but i do see it's advantages
