Cha Ching!!

Funny story. Last night I was out at a buffett with the family. Everyone walked up to the buffet to get their food including me. I had totally forgot to take my phone with and turn down the volume. Well while we were all up at the buffet that amazing sound of Cha-ching went off with a full dining room of people. As I am walking back to our table EVERYONE was staring at me. I just kinda looked around and sat down. I looked down at my phone and I knew sure enough they had heard my favorite sound ever. There was an older man sitting at the next table and he turns and says to me "maam I think your phone is telling you this place costs too much" LOL I lost it. My fiance turns to him and says "No Sir thats a great sound, It means we dont have to stay and wash dishes" We then explained to whole cha-ching thing to him. He said well then I guess that would keep me glued to my phone!! Sorry just had to share~

I don't get the where your cha-ching comes from?
I take it that this is the sound your iPhone makes to let you know you just received an Etsy sale?

That is the only reason I still have the Etsy app on my phone. :) I love that sound!

I'm always afraid I'm going to forget to turn my phone off and that will happen in church. lol

Aura if you go into the app store from your Iphone and download the etsy app. When you get a sale as long as you have your notifications you will hear a ChaChing when you get a sale. Its the best thing ever!!

The best "cha-ching" story EVER!! And I'm now addicted to that sound though I don't hear it as often as I'd like :-(

I remember having my phone on mute one day due to being in a place where it would have been inappropriate to have it on. I missed my "cha-ching" sound and was bummed the whole day until my family all came in the room and in unison said "Cha-Ching" :-)

The etsy app for my android won't even let me sign in, it just acts as a different way for me to view Etsy. How do I get this app you guys are talking about? Or is it only for iphone?

I have it too and agree that it is wonderful but at Christmas time I was so overwhelmed that I literally would feel my heart race when it went off and I had to look right away to see if it was an item I already had made or custom order. lol
I have to turn mine phone to do not disturb at night because if I hear the cha ching I have to get up & see what I sold. Terrible aren't I?

Haha that's awesome! My boyfriend thinks I'm making the noise up since he's NEVER heard it! I just keep saying I don't want to hang out with him anymore since it never goes off when he's around! ;)

Loved the story for sure! I homeschool our boys and they are here with me most of the day. Every time the cha-ching comes, we all do the happy dance!!! They also know I will be too distracted to keep schooling and they get to have a break. Smiles all around!
