Can i accept payment with Master Card on Esty ?

Hello, a client has just order a item from my shop, but she doesn't want pay by paypal, she wants pay it using her Master card , so she gave me her Master card No. asking me to enter the info, i do not know how to do it, plesae help me!

Who just sends a total stranger their cc #?? Something's fishy here..

I wouldn't accept it. If the card is stolen, you are out the $$. Just tell her that you accept Paypal & point her to your policies.

You can use your credit card via PayPal without creating a PayPal account.

Danideng, Here some info I have in my policies about how to pay with Paypal. You can tell her to do this:

I only accept payments through Paypal If you don’t have an account with Paypal you can also pay with your credit without creating an account.
Simply, just look on the left side of the Paypal page and you will see the Visa/Mastercard/Discover/American Express link to continue your payment with credit card. Follow the payment process and you’re ready to go.

That "you" in the previous post is the buyer, not you, the seller. Your being given the CC# is suspicious. AND if you were able to use it, you would be the guilty party. Beware!

I've had people send me their CC # before too. Legitimately. I just enter it into my Propay account and Voila!

Guys, Thanks a lot for your kind help ! My client prefer not to share her bank account information with Paypal ! As i am in France europe, my client is in USA . Are there any other method of payment ?

Hello....
I would be a bit cautious on this sale.

Last year I had a sale and the buyer said her bookkeeper sent me too much money. AND, when I got the check to please deduct what she owed me for her purchase and to please send her the difference. AND, she was sending someone to pick up her purchase from me.
Of course, I put a halt to the whole thing.

If you do get her card number...call and check the card before you send anything....CC's numbers are stolen easily now a days.

I bought gas with my ATM and l hour later someone used my card number to buy $1,000.00 worth of furniture in another city.

When I find my self having to do somersaults to make a sale....a red flag goes up.

Thank heavens for PayPal.....and honest buyers.

This sounds a bit weird to me. I would definitely recommend the paypal option.
