Hi,

I am quite new to Etsy, thus i would really appreciate any advice what could I improve to make my shop better. At least my statistic of views is close to zero.

Hi Zane!

Congrats on opening your shop! I think it looks great! You have some beautiful items and lovely photos, but I think if you work on your titles and tags, you will get more views. Some of your titles are pretty good, but others are a little too vague (like "Bracelet and Earrings"). Try to put the main three descriptors words first, but then go ahead and add a bit more about the item, such as "beaded" or "with charms" etc. Also, for your tags, be sure to use some keyword phrases such as "wing earrings" or "jewelry set". Also, be sure to use all 13 tags and try to think of the words most people will use to search for your jewelry. Best of luck!

I am wondering maybe I have to add more keywords. Or it is not working because I haven't put an advertisement anywhere?

Your shop looks great! Very interesting stuff. I recently had issues with viewing and decided to revamp my titles and tags. I would change them and leave them for a few days to see if it helped any. I went from 1 view every two days to averaging over 30 views a day. I noticed with your tags that you use a lot of one word tags try using phrases like gold earrings or pendant earrings. I noticed using phrases has helped a lot. I would also look at the sellers handbook on tagging for relevancy since that is how the search engine lists them now. Hope that helps.

Do you have business cards with your shop's web address on it? Have you made a page on Facebook that links to your Etsy shop? Word of mouth works too - mention it to friends, family and collegues and ask them to pass it on!

Hi pojene, I am not selling jewelry but I saw a post recently talking about a shop like yours and the owner wanted to know why no sales or views and the answer was that there are 2,200,000 items like yours in Etsy.com and if you only have 22 items you have a 100,000 chance of someone finding your shop so you need to make more items. You have less than 22......

So it looks like the way of setting keywords is the most important. But it is really strange that combination of words work better than separate keywords. Anyway thanks for that advice too, try to work on it too.

Yes, I know don't have a huge list of items yet. It takes time to make photos of all of them but I will put more of them very soon :)
