Business Cards?

Maybe this is a silly thing to ask a group of people that are from all over the country.. or rather world... but.. I'm trying to figure out where the best place is to get business cards made?

Im in Washington state, so any locals who know of anywhere is hugely helpful, otherwise if you know of any online resources, I'd LOVE to hear of them!!

Thanks!!

Re: Business Cards?

Moo.com is really popular & make really nice cards. I just got my first order from them this month. They are pretty pricey, though. I spent way more than I had originally budgeted.

Re: Business Cards?

I got mine from vistaprint.com . I customized one of their stock designs, and I think they are pretty reasonable... I think I paid about $15 for 250 cards plus 100 return address labels. I just put my store name, etsy address, and e-mail on the address labels so I could use them to label the backs of my paintings.

Re: Business Cards?

I used moo.com and they are amazing. It is a little more expensive, but very high quality. If you are making a high quaility item, it makes sense to have high quality cards, right?

Re: Business Cards?

I got mine from vistaprint.com as well. I got about 500 for like $10 I think... all I remember is it being really cheap! They look great too!

Re: Business Cards?

I've used vistaprint.com and found them adequate, but now use moo.com exclusively because the quality is great. The mini-moo's fit in my gift boxes and I use an additional one with a paper punched hole that I stick the stem of a button flower through and wrap it around the box. They now ship out of the US (instead of Britain) so it's fast. They also have some "sales" if you sign up for their Moosletter. Just ordered and received the standard cards for my hubby's shop and used 10 different photos of his work for 50 cards. Very impressed! (Wow - I sound like a commercial for Moo!!)

Re: Business Cards?

I heard moo.com is great and they look amazing.

Now about vistaprint.com .. I ordered a while ago (not the free ones) and they were just not right. It was gray and white and even so.. my graphics were printed badly (I used photoshop and good resol). Not sure what happened there.. that is my personal experience.

Re: Business Cards?

I know you can upload a file to fedexoffice.com and they will deliver to their house or to the closest store. You might also search on etsy. I found someone I was thinking of ordering through, if I can do my own design. I am researching still.

Re: Business Cards?

Moo.com is offering 50 free cards. The catch is they have etsy and a moo.com ad on the very bottom.

Re: Business Cards?

My Favorite have always been Moo.

But you can always just look for a local print shop.

The cheapest can be a vista print deal where you basically only pay for shipping. But if you want them in less than a month it will really cost you.

Re: Business Cards?

I've had bad experiences with vistaprint. I uploaded my own design to gotprint.net and was extremely happy with them. They are a nice card stock and glossy on both sides.

Re: Business Cards?

I wasn't very happy with vista prints either. That's why I decided to splurge on moo! They are very nice quality and I've gotten a lot of compliments.

Re: Business Cards?

I love moo.com. My favorite part is that you can have a different image on every single card. The quality is REALLY nice. They are more expensive than if you get them at larger corporations that offer $10 for 500 cards, but I think they're worth it!

Re: Business Cards?

I have used Vistaprint for business cards (work and personal cards for networking) and webhosting and other print advertising materials.

The top banner of my webpage matches my business cards.

Re: Business Cards?

I bought mine from http://www.etsy.com/shop/vohandmade here on Etsy. They were my first Etsy purchase. I love the cards, they are high quality and I get compliments on them ALL the time. Vanessa O. was great to work with too.

I agree with the person who posted and said if you're going to offer a quality product, you should have a quality business card. It makes you look more professional.

Look around on Etsy for business cards, or wait for vohandmade to reopen!

Re: Business Cards?

Just went to check gotprint.net and they offer a free sample kit. Why not try it first? Link here: http://gotprint.net/g/requestSample.do

You can do moo.com and etsy 50 prints for free

I will try both and figure which one I like best :)

Re: Business Cards?

I got business card from Vista Print. They did not do the best job. I ended up having to print labels with my name, and post them on one side of the card. The other side looked fantastic.

I ended up making 'new' business cards from Aspen Copies where I live. I don't know if they have a website.

Re: Business Cards?

There are over 8000 listings on Etsy for custom business cards. I would recommend everyone to check them out when you need new business cards. We need to be supporting our fellow Etsians with our purchases!

Re: Business Cards?

This is a little different twist for the post. I've been wondering what would be the best thing to put on a business card so that somebody not familiar with etsy would be able to quickly find my shop?
