I used to be obsessed with Etsy - it was my passion and a huge part of my life, but for the past few years I have taken a break (uni, work etc) and now I am back I feel a bit lost. I am really proud of how my shop is looking and feeling, I have worked really hard on my art and jewellery the past year but I feel too shy to "put myself out there" like I used to. Does anyone else struggle to be confident in their work and themselves?

Don't feel that way, you've sold heaps which proves people love your wares & would love to see more. I think youll feel less shy soon :)

Ps where in leicester are you? Im from there (blaby) & much of my family are still that way ( enderby, oadby coalville..)

Thank you for your reply, I have been poorly the last week so have only just seen this! I actually live near Hinckley but know coalville and leicester really well, small world :)

I am so glad it isn't just me! I feel like a took a much needed break, and now feel a bit lost and insecure about everything again. Pricing, customer reception, low views, etc. I'm not sure how to get over it

Well I live in Texas, but I struggle with this too! I shared a news story and link about a distant cousin's small business on my Facebook page, but I'm hesitant to tell her about our business. We just became fb friends; don't want her to think I posted about her business just so I could tell her about ours.

I love our items and I love creating them, but I don't ever want to impose or push them on anyone. Thanks for sharing. I'm glad to know it's not just me.
